Agriforest recently took delivery of a new crane trailer which was shipped over from Polish manufacturer, Faofar, direct to Clark Engineering of Dumfries, south Scotland, for set up and assembly. It has a Cranab crane, which are commonly fitted to full scale forwarders, meaning the crane trailer has the power and capacity of an large scale forwarder, but the flexibility and cost effectiveness of a tractor/trailer configuration. The set up has been well used since it’s delivery in June on several sites including one involving the handling of 700 tonnes of material which was completed ahead of schedule. The new set up enables Agriforest to undertake small sites cost effectively-without the need for the expense of a large forwarder and the associated transport costs to site.
