Agriforest Ltd like all other businesses in the country have been weathering the storm of Covid 19 and associated lockdown in the spring and summer. Luckily, most of our sites were able to keep going due to much of the timber produced being pallet or biomass material, which has been in demand throughout the lockdown. Our planning of spring and summer work has luckily tied in with some excellent weather after a very wet winter, which has made a real difference to getting clear fell sites large and small completed in a timely fashion and with minimal ground damage to fields adjacent to work areas.
BRASH HEAPED UP AFTER INITIAL FELLING WORK WAS COMPLETED AT A SITE ON THE EAST COAST OF SCOTLAND. THE BRASH WILL BE CHIPPED AND REMOVED BY LORRIES, ENSURING A CLEAN AND TIDY SITE IS LEFT BEHIND READY FOR REPLANTING LATER IN THE YEAR. THE ‘V’ DRAIN IN THE FOREGROUND WAS RECENTLY INSTALLED BY OUR FORESTRY EXCAVATOR.
